Friends of HOPE

Mission Statement

We are a non-partisan organization of community leaders, joined together to promote and support HOPE Probation and recovery for Hawaii residents in the criminal justice system who have alcohol and drugs problems.  We believe that full recovery from substance abuse is possible, that recidivism can be reduced, and that all members and segments of society will be the beneficiaries.

We advance public understanding, encourage local innovation, and offer practical assistance to courts, probation and parole officers, and probationers and parolees through a stable professional partnership of attorneys, physicians, and other community members.
